Kota Kinabalu To Welcome First East Malaysian smart Dealership

This upcoming Sabahan outlet is to be joined by two other new smart dealerships in Kuantan and PJ.  

Sabahans take note, as smart has recently announced that its first East Malaysian outlet is set to open in Kota Kinabalu. Partnering with Fook Loi Eurocar Sdn Bhd, this upcoming dealership will be opening its doors to eager Borneo EV buyers by the end of this year. 

Now aside from expanding all the way eastwards to Borneo, smart has also set forth eastwards towards the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia too, with a new outlet soon to be open in Kuantan. This premier dealership in Pahang will open its doors by the end of this year and is to be operated by Hoi Keen Service Sdn Bhd, recognised as the Proton CEO & Diamond Award 2023 recipient — the highest recognition in Proton Dealership. 

And in just rounding up the list of new smart dealerships to come, the third of three new outlets it has officially announced will open in 2024 is to be found in Petaling Jaya along the eastbound route of the Federal Highway. This particular outlet will be run by the Naza Automotive Group, with its slated opening date set for the end of the year too.  

There are currently 10 smart dealerships operational nationwide across six states, with the #1 as its sole local offering thus far. These 10 outlets include smart Ipoh (GB Auto), smart Balakong (Hap Seng Smart), smart KL (Hap Seng Smart), smart Penang (Eleganz Lifetsyle), smart Alor Setar (Lee Motors), smart Glenmarie (EON Berhad), smart Setia Alam (Wheelcorp EV), smart Melaka (Sigma Energy EV), smart Johor Bahru (Motor Future), and smart Damansara (smart Mobility). 

Beyond the point of purchase, smart Malaysia touts for itself to be prioritising customer satisfaction through excellent aftersales service. Their trained advisors, stationed around ouritsphysical showroom, are dedicated to offering expertise and support, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable ownership experience.
