Peugeot Is Currently Offering A RM 21,500 Rebate On The 2008
The previously RM 133,388 Peugeot 2008 compact crossover can now be yours for just RM 111,888!
Peugeot Malaysia has recently announced that it is currently offering a rather special rebate of RM 21,500 for its 2008! This therefore sees for the French compact crossover to now possibly be yours at a much more appealing RM 111,888, instead of its prior retail price of RM 133,388.
Now it is currently unclear whether these staggering rebates are to be for 2024 models of this small SUV, but it should be noted here that Peugeot was previously running a similar promotional campaign at the end of last year which slashed RM 13,500 off the price of the 2008. The current sizeable cash rebate offer nevertheless means that the 2008 is to be among the cheapest ways into a new non-national small SUV on the local market right now.
This RM 21,500 rebate offered with this compact crossover is inclusive of a 7-year/200,000 km extended warranty, but does not have the previously included 5-year Service Inclusive Programme. Customers will have the option to purchase this maintenance plan for RM 10,000, which will cover parts costs for a total of 10 services over five years and labor cost.
Despite it being around for nearly 3 years already, the 2008 is still very much a striking car to look at. Among the exterior kit on offer on this French compact crossover includes full-LED lighting technology back to front, 17-inch Black Onyx and Diamond Cut alloy wheels, roof rails and electrically foldable wing mirrors.
Moving inside meanwhile, the 2008 features Peugeot’s i-Cockpit concept and packs a compact steering wheel, a 7-inch central infotainment touchscreen (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a funky instrument cluster with 3D view. Other creature comforts to be found within this small SUV worth a mention includes automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a drive mode selector, and a bevy of active driver aids that encompasses autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist and blind spot monitoring.
Driving the front wheels of the 2008 is a 1.2 litre PureTech turbocharged three-cylinder and six-speed automatic transmission, with the former churning out a decent 130 PS and 230 Nm of torque. Speed freaks will be glad to know that Peugeot currently quotes for this small SUV to be capable of hitting a top speed of 199 km/h, while the more sensible will likely be more interested in it claiming to deliver a combined fuel consumption figure of just 4.5 litres per 100 km.
