smart Malaysia continues its nationwide expansion with a new 3S outlet in Mutiara Damansara.
Smart Mobility Sdn Bhd, has recently opened a smart 3S centre in Mutiara Damansara. Located on the ground floor of Menara TSR, this 10th outlet for the all-electric marque in Malaysia spans 7,500 square feet, and comes complete with a showroom, spare parts hub and a service centre with 4 service bays.
Now in line with smart’s current customer-centric approach too, this new 3S centre also provides various amenities to improve the customer experience. With high-speed WiFi available within the premises, customers can work or watch a movie during their wait for a service on their EVs. There is a dedicated kids’ play zone for families as well, which should keep any children entertained while the grown ups are shopping for a car.
It has even been touted that customers of smart Mutiara Damansara can enjoy complimentary coffee and snacks, while their cars are being serviced. Though it has to be said that there is also a rather nice brunch spot/cafe in the building right next door, if something a little more fancy is desired by the owners of these premium EVs.
In any case, equipped with four service bays, smart Damansara has the (rather excessive) capacity to accommodate up to 30 cars per day, depending on the type of service. The service intervals for the smart EV are as follows:
· Once a year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first (Aircond Filter)
· Once every 2 years or 40,000 km, whichever comes first (Brake Service)
· Once every 3 years or 60,000 km, whichever comes first (Transmission oil)
· Once every 4 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first (Coolant)
According to Smart Mobility’s CEO, Mr. Eric Moo, the smart Damansara 3S Centre is designed with a contemporary style while maintaining a warm and welcoming ambience. “We invite everyone to come and experience a test drive of the all-electric smart #1 at smart Damansara. Our knowledgeable personnel will provide guidance on owning an EV while allowing you to experience the hospitality with exceptional products and services we offer at our outlet,” said Eric.
The is newly-opened smart Mutiara Damansara 3S centre currently operates from Monday to Sunday with the following hours: Monday – Saturday, from 9.00am – 7.00 pm and Sunday from 10.00am – 6.00pm. There are currently 10 smart dealerships operational nationwide across six states, with 3 more on the way by the end of this year. Aside from this particular outlet in Mutiara Damansara, the other 9 existing locations are smart Ipoh (GB Auto), smart Balakong (Hap Seng Smart), smart KL (Hap Seng Smart), smart Penang (Eleganz Lifetsyle), smart Alor Setar (Lee Motors), smart Glenmarie (EON Berhad), smart Setia Alam (Wheelcorp EV), smart Melaka (Sigma Energy EV) and smart Johor Bahru (Motor Future).
As for its local model lineup meanwhile, the #1 is currently to be smart Malaysia’s only offering thus far, with this e-crossover available locally in 3 variants: Pro, Premium and Brabus. Headline stats with each of the aforementioned trim includes a Model 3-rivalling RM 189,000 price tag for the base-tier Pro, a WLTP-claimed range of 440 km on a single charge for the mid-spec Premium, and a blistering 3.9 second century sprint time for the spicy hot Brabus.
