The Mitsubishi Drive Your Ambition event will take place on 18th-19th January at ParkCity Eastwood.
Attention Sarawakians, ever wanted to get down and dirty with the new Mitsubishi Triton? Well here is soon your chance, as Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has recently announced their “Drive your Ambition” brand festival, a 4×4 experiential event, which will take place on the weekend of the 18th to 19th January 2025, in ParkCity Eastwood, Miri, from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Throughout the weekend, participants would have the opportunity to put to the test the new Mitsubishi Triton’s on- and off-road chops, by taking it through a series of engaging test-drive courses. Among the obstacles that participants will push this pickup through in the course includes side traverse, water wading, hill climb, gravel pit, mud pit, and articulation crawler.
Participants can further get behind the wheel of a Triton Single Cab during the event, and marvel at how it conquers all the aforementioned obstacles with ease, all the while with a tonne of palm oil in its bed!
And while the thrill of the test drive may be enough for most, those who indeed do take the all-new Triton through the obstacle courses will also be receiving attractive goodies, such as a Naturehike Camping Stool and an all-new Triton tote bag. Book an all-new Triton at the event meanwhile, and you’ll even receive a Naturehike Cooler Box worth RM 150.
Local artists Dabra Sia and Azam Pitt will be on site on the 18th and 19th January respectively, to provide some beats to set the mood for the day. Mitsubishi also currently touts for there to be more fun activities planned for the whole family during the weekend, which is free to join by the way.
Developed under the product concept of “Power for Adventure,” the all-new Triton features a complete overhaul of everything from the interior and exterior design to the chassis, ladder frame, and engine. It was first launched in Thailand – where its production plant is located – in July 2023 and introduced in Japan in February 2024, before eventually landing locally just two months prior.
