MG Expands Local Dealer Network To 35 Locations By End 2025

Among these soon-to-open MG Malaysia locations include its first outlets in Sarawak and Kedah. 

Aside from soon expanding its local offerings to include a brace of petrol-powered sedan and SUV options (as well as Malaysia’s first all-electric supercar!), MG has recently also announced that it is to go on a proper expansion spree on its official local dealer network in Malaysia too!

This once-British-now-Chinese automaker currently has 14 Sales showrooms and 8 Service centres nationwide, since it first made its official (re-)entry over here earlier this year. An additional 5 Sales and 1 Service outlets meanwhile is currently being opened by MG in these few weeks, with it having set the ambitious target to cover a total of 35 locations in Malaysia by the end of 2025.

Now among the dealerships MG is currently to open in the coming weeks includes its first Kedah outlet in Alor Setar, as well as its first Sarawak location. Here below is the full list of new additions to the Chinese automaker’s local dealer network: 

1. MG Motor Puchong (SV Auto Haus Sdn. Bhd.)

Operating hours: Mon-Sat (9am-6pm), Sun & PH (10am-5pm)

2. MG Motor Skudai (YM MG Auto Sdn Bhd)

3. MG Motor Juru (Weststar Technics Sdn Bhd)

These new dealerships has been touted by the automaker to significantly boost the accessibility of its newly-announced internal combustion engine (ICE) lineup locally, alongside its existing all-electric MG4 and MG ZS EV models. The Myvi-sized MG4 currently retails in Malaysia from RM 104,000, while the ZS EV e-SUV costs RM 125,999.
