Mercedes EQC 400 4MATIC EV Selling Price Is RM388,888

First shown to the world in 2016 at the Paris Motor Show, the EQC has a seamless, clear design and colour highlights typical of the brand.

This EV is a pioneer for an avant-garde electric sports SUV while representing the design idiom of Progressive Luxury.

The EQC comes with the best possible safety features, typical of Mercedes-Benz and a leader among current crop of electric vehicles on sale.

With an extended roofline, low waistline and the coupé-like roof recess at the rear, the EQC is more intimidating on the road over its petrol powered sibling, the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe which is priced at RM398,888.

The EQC is larger, more dynamic looking and offers more than a similar priced ‘gray’ imported Tesla Model X which you can only buy in Malaysia from a private importer without official Tesla warranty and after sales.

This EQC 400 4MATIC for Malaysian showrooms feature the AMG Line exterior and AMG body-styling, further finessed with a 50.8 cm (20-inch) AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels, aluminium-look running boards with rubber studs, MULTIBEAM LED headlights, and Windscreen wipers with rain sensors.

The EQC’s high-voltage lithium-ion battery is the central energy storage unit for the electric powertrain. Its high power density provides a usable energy content of approximately 80kWh (WLTP) at a weight of 655kg.

This is made possible by a modular system design with two modules of 48 cells and four modules of 72 cells, allowing the battery to be installed in the vehicle floor for a favourable centre of gravity.

The all new EQC 400 4MATIC features an alternating current charging system (AC charging) up to 11 kW and a direct current charging system (DC charging) up to 110 kW. For further ease, it will also include a charging cable for wall-box and public charging stations measuring at 5 m, straight.

Additionally, in the vehicle’s technology, Acoustic ambient protection is also included as a standard and DYNAMIC SELECT.
