Harley Davidson Nightster making its debut at Art of Speed 2022
After an absent past couple of years due to the pandemic, Art of Speed is making a return this July 2-3. This year’s event is set to be bigger than ever to make up for the past few years of inactivity. As a treat for motorcycle fans, the Harley Davidson Nightster will be making its first official debut at Art of Speed 2022.
The new Nightster is an evolution of the classic Harley-Davidson Sportster. It has been equipped with the new Revolution Max 975T V-Twin powertrain paired with a six-speed gearbox. It easily delivers 90hp and 95Nm of torque.
The front suspension features 41mm SHOWA™ Dual Bending Valve conventional forks while the rear is fitted with dual shock absorbers with pre-load adjustment. Wheels are 19-inch in the front and 16-inch at the rear. All lighting across the Nightster are LEDs.
For infotainment, the Harley-Davidson Nightster is equipped with a 4-inch analog instrument LCD display for all necessary information. Also included are Anti-Lock Brake (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS) and Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DSCS).
Selectable Drive Modes which include Road Mode, Rain Mode and Sport Mode help improve performance of the bike throughout different road conditions. Rider Safety Enhancements are also included in the Nightster to further adjust motorcycle performance by utilizing chassis control, electric brake control and powertrain technology.
“The Nightster is built for nimble performance and distinctive style based on a motorcycle story laid 65 years ago and we are pleased to share this new chapter in the Sportster® legacy with our Malaysian customers. We witnessed a phenomenal response for the Sportster™ S model, and we are confident that this new best in class offering will resonate well with our customers.” said Sajeev Rajasekharan, Managing Director, Asia Emerging Markets & India at Harley-Davidson.
The Harley-Davidson Nightster will be offered in Vivid Black, Gunship Grey and Redline Red. Pricing details have yet to be revealed.
