The Chery Tiggo 8 Pro is now to be available locally in a limited-edition Aurora Green exterior hue.
In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, Chery Malaysia has recently announced the introduction of a new special Aurora Green exterior hue for its flagship Tiggo 8 Pro SUV.
Limited to just 120 units, this admittedly similar shade of turquoise to the launch colour of the new Proton S70 has been touted by the Chinese automaker to add ‘a touch of elegance and sophistication to this already impressive vehicle’. And it really has to be said that this particular hue does certainly bring a bit of classy pop to its already upmarket-looking proceedings, enough to possibly make everyone green with envy when arriving back home for Raya with this stylish 7-seat SUV.
Rather neatly too, Chery is not to be charging extra for this particular limited-edition colour. Much like its Khaki White and Dark Black counterparts, the Aurora Green Tiggo 8 Pros are still to be priced from RM 159,800, with that price including a comprehensive warranty package offering 7-years of coverage or up to 150,000 km, along with complimentary 5-years of labour service.
Customers nevertheless have the option to enhance their coverage by topping up an additional sum of RM 2,000 for the Extended Warranty Package, which provides a 10-year warranty or 1,000,000 km for their vehicle’s engine. Additionally, Chery Malaysia is currently offering the Extra Peace of Mind Package, which includes a 10-year extended vehicle engine warranty or 1,000,000 km and 7-years of service maintenance, for just RM 11,600.
The Tiggo 8 Pro first made its Malaysian debut back in July 2023. Powering this Chery is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four cylinder and 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which sends 256 hp and 390 Nm of torque to its front wheels.
As with any Chery, the Tiggo 8 Pro is absolutely chock full of features. The long list is highlighted by wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration on its 24.6-inch dual screen display, a 540º surround view camera, chauffeur seat controls on the front passenger seat, dual-zone auto air con with rear vents, electric front seats with ventilation and heating, as well as proximity sensor keyless entry.
Also included within the Tiggo 8 Pro is a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), providing the driver with a heightened sense of security on the road with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist and Blind Spot Detection. The vehicle’s soundproofing Acoustic Glass technology ensures an exceptionally quiet interior, further enhancing the plush driving experience.
