Bosch Contributes New Batteries And Wipers To Ambulances

Bosch is ensuring that ambulances remain in good working order during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even as Malaysia enters the RMCO phase of the COVID-19 response, the coronavirus pandemic is still prevalent in our country.

To that effect, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Malaysia (Bosch AA) has contributed ancillary items vital for ambulances to maintain in working condition during these times.

As part of their ‘Safer Cars, Safer Roads’ initiative, and in support of one of Malaysia’s main infectious disease centres, Bosch AA has donated brand new maintenance-free vehicle batteries to ensure that the ambulances will continue to operate trouble-free during this recovery period.

New cabin batteries to power up important medical equipment within the ambulance has also been contributed by Bosch AA as part of this CSR initiative.

In addition to that, new Aerotwin Retrofit wipers are part of this aid too. A useful upgrade in the ambulance especially in the current rainy season. Ensuring that paramedics and patients can get to and from the hospital safely and speedily, thanks to clearer vision on the rainy streets.

Bosch AA hopes that it is able to continue supporting government hospitals by ensuring the safety and well-being of medical workers and patient during transit, especially during these trying times.

Petaling Jaya, Malaysia – In support of one of Malaysia’s main infectious disease centres, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Malaysia (Bosch AA) worked to ensure their ambulances are in great working condition as part of the ‘Safer Cars, Safer Roads’ CSR initiative. Bosch AA contributed brand new maintenance-free vehicle batteries as well as cabin batteries used to power up important medical equipment on top of Aerotwin Retrofit wipers for clear vision, especially given the current rainy season so medical frontliners and patients experience a safer drive.

“Ambulances are a vital need for both patients and hospitals. Bosch felt it was crucial to deliver peace of mind to drivers and medical workers so that their mission to save lives will not be interrupted by unwanted situations such as a breakdown. We are truly humbled by the dedication of the medical community over the past few months, and would like to show them our support so they are able to count on us when it comes to vehicle maintenance and road safety,” said Dillion Goh, Marketing Manager of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Malaysia.

Malaysia is recognised as among the countries with the best global healthcare systems. Bosch AA hopes to continue supporting government hospitals to help ensure the safety and well-being of medical workers and patients remain a top priority on our shared roads.

The ‘Safer Cars, Safer Roads’ CSR initiative is part of Bosch AA’s flagship ‘Drive for Life’ car and road safety campaign. The campaign aims to raise awareness on basic automotive knowledge and the importance of proactive vehicle maintenance using quality car parts.
