UMW Toyota Motor Records Over 24,500 Sales In Q3 2026

UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) recorded over 24,500 vehicle sales from July to September 2026. This brings its year-to-date sales to more than 60,800 units.
The company continues to focus on improving the Toyota ownership experience through digital services, easier maintenance bookings and wider access to electric vehicle charging.
One initiative is the Toyota MY App campaign, which runs from 14 September to 31 December 2026.

Customers receive 500 Loyal-T Points when registering for the app. They can also earn another 500 points for each service booking made through the app when sending their vehicle for servicing. The campaign is open to both new and existing app users.
UMWT is also expanding access to public EV charging through its Multi-Pathway approach. The company is working with chargEV and JomCharge to introduce charging points at Toyota and Lexus locations nationwide.
The planned rollout covers 42 public charging points across 21 sites in the first half of 2027. This includes 38 charging points at 19 locations under chargEV and four points at two JomCharge locations.
Seven sites have been completed so far, while the remaining locations will follow in phases. The initiative aims to make public charging more accessible to EV drivers at familiar Toyota and Lexus facilities.
The charging points will be open to all electric vehicles, regardless of brand. Drivers can locate participating sites through the chargEV and JomCharge apps.Through these initiatives, UMWT aims to improve customer convenience beyond vehicle purchases, covering servicing, digital engagement and access to charging infrastructure.
