Suzuki buyers can enjoy up to RM6,900 in trade-in support when trading in their existing vehicle this Merdeka season.
While most might not know where their old car ends up after trading it in for a new one, those buying a new Suzuki now will. Such is because Suzuki Cars Malaysia has recently appointed Carsome Malaysia as its exclusive official trade-in partner, following an MoU signing this past Friday.
The new partnership integrates Carsome’s vehicle inspection, valuation and trade-in services across Suzuki’s authorised dealership network nationwide. Customers will be able to trade in vehicles of any make or model as part of their new Suzuki purchase, utilising the used car unicorn’s platform for a more transparent and convenient trade-in process.
“Buying a new car should be exciting, and not complicated. Together with Carsome, we are making it easier for customers to realise the value of their existing vehicle and transition into a new Suzuki with greater convenience and confidence,” said Mohd Rizal Jailan, Chief Executive Officer of Naza Automotive Group.
Carsome co-founder and Group CEO Eric Cheng meanwhile added that the collaboration combines Suzuki’s nationwide dealership network with its platform’s inspection, valuation and trade-in capabilities to create a more connected vehicle ownership experience.
The launch of the new Suzuki-Carsome trade-in programme also coincides with Suzuki Cars Malaysia’s Merdeka Mega Bonanza Campaign, which runs throughout August and September 2026.
As part of the campaign, customers purchasing selected Suzuki models can enjoy rebates of up to RM 19,000, alongside trade-in support of up to RM 6,900 when trading in their existing vehicle through Carsome. Participating models include the Suzuki Swift Sport, Fronx, Fronx Sport, Jimny AllGrip Pro, Jimny 5-Door and the newly-launched e VITARA.
There are also prizes up for grabs through a campaign lucky draw, with the six grand prizes comprising two iPhone 17s, two Google Pixel 10s and two Samsung Galaxy S26s. Nine consolation prizes of RM 200 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credits are also available.
Those keen to experience the new trade-in programme can do so at the upcoming Naza Automania Carnival – Merdeka Edition, taking place from 14 to 16 August 2026. Visitors will be able to have their existing vehicles valued by Carsome, check out Suzuki’s latest models and enjoy the various Merdeka campaign promotions.
The three-day carnival will also feature family-friendly activities and the Jimny Community Gathering, culminating in the Best Looking Jimny Competition on 15 August.
