Omoda Jaecoo Opens Massive Parts Warehouse In Shah Alam

This new 88,000 sq. ft. warehouse stores around 10,000 parts for all Omoda and Jaecoo models sold in Malaysia.
If there is one thing that could most quickly ruin the reputation of an automaker, it is poor aftersales service. Though that shouldn’t be a problem for the newly-rebranded Omoda Jaecoo at least, as this Chery offshoot has recently announced the opening of a state-of-the-art parts warehouse facility in Shah Alam.
Centrally located at the Hicom Industrial Estate in Shah Alam, the expansive 88,000 square feet parts warehouse houses approximately 10,000 parts specifically designed for all Omoda and Jaecoo models currently available in Malaysia. Additionally, the facility maintains a dedicated iCAUR parts stockpile in preparation for the imminent iCAUR 03 launch that is currently scheduled for Q3 2025.
Funnily enough however, while this warehouse stocks parts for Omoda, Jaecoo and iCaur, it carries no inventory for Chery’s mainline models. A fact that is made all the more ironic considering the warehouse is owned and operated by Chery Corporate Malaysia.
Emily Lek, Vice President of Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia, emphasised the strategic importance of this expansion: “The centrally located Chery Corporate Malaysia Warehouse is pivotal in supporting our growing dealership network while upholding the premium aftersales service standards our customers expect.”
Beyond serving the domestic market, the new warehouse facility positions Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia to support its expanding export business throughout the ASEAN region. Lek noted that “the customer experience remains at the heart of Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia’s mission” while emphasising the brand’s role in redefining attainable luxury.
Despite having only entered the Malaysian market less than a year ago, Omoda Jaecoo nevertheless already operates an impressive network of 45 dealerships nationwide. The brand currently offers three models in its local lineup: the Jaecoo J7 (ICE and PHEV), the Jaecoo J8 and the Omoda C9.
As for the newly announced iCAUR sub-brand meanwhile, it has also been similarly quick to sprout dealerships around Malaysia. It apparently already secured partnerships with 11 dealer locations across the country, ahead of the iCAUR 03’s local debut.
This Defender-inspired iCaur 03 has been tipped to land locally in two variants: a 2WD version estimated at RM 145,000 and a 4WD (iWD) variant that is expected to retail at RM 155,000. Both are currently available for pre-order ahead of their official launch in Q3 2025.
