ALLIANZ PARTNERS & WAZE EXTEND ON-DEMAND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

Allianz Partners and Waze have just announced their partnership to provide roadside assistance services to over 10 million Waze users across Asia Pacific: in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Thailand and Australia. Drivers will be able to access an on-demand roadside assistance service powered by Allianz Partners in real-time, by one simple click on the Roadside Help (‘SOS’) button in the Waze app, and get support from either a digital platform or call center. Wazers will be assisted anywhere, 24/7, in the event of a breakdown, flat tire or dead battery.

This expansion builds on an existing partnership launched in July 2018 across 20 European countries, giving over 22 million Waze users access to on-demand roadside assistance.

“Allianz Partners is proud to expand its partnership with Waze to the Asia Pacific market.  Allianz Partners, as the ‘high-tech, high-touch’ assistance services leader, will be providing on-demand immediate assistance solutions to a highly digitalized audience. Together, Allianz Partners and Waze will focus on making the drivers’ experience even safer, more secure, and more convenient, anytime and anywhere. We are thrilled to be growing the relationship with Waze, the best-in-class community-based traffic and navigation app,” says Sylvie Ouziel, CEO Assistance and APAC at Allianz Partners. “Our mission is to provide our business partners’ customers with the best value-adding mobility services with a seamless user experience by embedding our solutions into the Waze app on a daily basis.”

“Waze is a community-driven app that does more than help everyone beat traffic — it also leverages the power of crowdsourced data to support drivers in times of need and distress,” said KK Kumar, Head of Waze APAC. “Working closely with Allianz Partners enables us to make our Roadside Help offerings even more comprehensive across Asia Pacific, providing Waze users with the roadside assistance they need to get to their destination safely.”

This partnership highlights both companies’ commitment to delivering reliable and value-adding solutions to drivers in need, ensuring their safety wherever they are.
