This is a first picture of a ‘camo’ TOYOTA TRAVO, the latest pickup truck from Toyota which is ready to be officially launched for the first time in the world in Thailand. It is expected to be launched on the 10th of November 2026. Both diesel and BEV models are expected to be available.
Toyota Hilux Travo 2025 has been developed on the basis of the IMV2 platform. Just like the Hilux Revo, but there are re-designed changes in many parts on the exterior and interior. The front has been redesigned to look modern, cool and compact. There are redesigned headlights, taillights, front bumper and all new front bumper.
Exterior: The exterior will feature a complete redesign with a new front end, including split headlights and a larger grille, as well as new rear bumper and tailgate designs.
Interior: A redesigned dashboard with a new, free-standing infotainment screen is expected. Some patent leaks suggest a more modern and updated interior design with features like a digital instrument cluster, push-button start, and a phone tray.
Powertrain: The existing 2.4-liter and 2.8-liter turbodiesel engines are expected to be carried over but updated to meet the latest emissions regulations. A mild-hybrid system is likely to continue, and the introduction of a new diesel hybrid is anticipated, possibly joined by a plug-in hybrid in the future.
Platform: The new Hilux Travo will likely use Toyota’s TNGA-F platform, which is shared with other models like the Land Cruiser and Tacoma.
Driver assistance: New electric power steering could enable more advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), potentially including Level 2 semi-autonomous driving capabilities.
Availability: While the “Travo” name may be specific to certain markets like Thailand, the new generation Hilux will likely be launched globally. The projected world premiere is around November 2025.
