Suzuki’s New Penang Showroom Is Its 3rd Retail Outlet In Malaysia

This newly-opened Penang outlet will be just 1 of 6 more Suzuki dealerships that are set to open locally in 2025.

Naza Eastern Motors, the exclusive distributor of Suzuki Cars in Malaysia, has recently officially opened its newest showroom in Penang. This latest outlet marks the 3rd branch addition to the Japanese automaker’s local retail network, complementing the existing two locations currently situated in Petaling Jaya and Johor Bahru.

Located along Jalan Anson in Georgetown, this latest facility is designed to showcase the many variants of Jimny and Swift Sport. Featuring a spacious layout, interactive displays, and comfortable spaces, the showroom prioritises customer satisfaction by offering a seamless and enjoyable Suzuki buying journey.

This latest showroom in Penang is said to emphasise Suzuki’s commitment to enhancing its presence in the Northern region, and comes as part of the automaker’s larger retail expansion plans for 2025. Suzuki has plans to open 5 more showrooms within the coming 12 months, with new outlets currently planned for Kuching, Klang, Muar, Langkawi and Labuan.

Speaking at the launch, Dato’ Jasmy Ismail, Chairman of Naza Automotive Group said, “We are extremely excited to bring the Suzuki Cars experience closer to our customers in Penang. This showroom is not just about expanding our footprint, but also about strengthening the relationship with our valued customers by offering them a world-class experience.

This is a significant milestone in our continued growth, and we are committed to further expanding Suzuki Car’s presence with five (5) new outlets scheduled to open across Malaysia this year.”

He added, “This Georgetown showroom is thoughtfully designed to provide a welcoming environment. With comfortable spaces, it ensures a seamless and enjoyable car-buying experience for our customers, perfectly showcasing Suzuki’s latest models. Our network will soon grow with new outlets planned for Kuching, Klang, Muar, Langkawi and Labuan this year, further reinforcing our promise to serve Suzuki cars customers nationwide.”

The local Suzuki lineup currently consists of the feisty Swift Sport hot hatch, as well as the Jimny compact off-roader (in both 3- and newly-launched 5-door guises). There are currently rumours that the e Vitara e-SUV will soon be landing locally within the next few months, which will go some way in explaining why Naza Eastern Motors is keen on expanding its local retail presence with such gusto this year.
