Spofec Spices Up The Rolls-Royce Spectre With A Carbon Bodykit

This full carbon fibre bodykit further adds menace to this already murdered-out all-electric Rolls-Royce.

While Rolls-Royce themselves do have Black Badge lineup that caters to those who desire a murdered-out Roller, it has however not yet extended this treatment to its new all-electric Spectre coupe.

Handily though to those who can’t wait the few months till the factory gets around to it, German tuning firm Novitec’s Rolls-Royce customisation division Spofec has recently launched its own interpretation of a Spectre Black Badge. Adding to this blacked-out behemoth a subtle full carbon body kit, along a set of steam-punk style monoblock wheels.

Now the bodykit added by Spofec on the Spectre starts up front with an additional splitter and matching bumper inserts, integrating an extra pair of DRLs. The side profile of this Roller is meanwhile adorned by a set of deeper side skirts, which are bookended by 24-inch SP3 disk-style alloys manufactured by Vossen.

Those with sharper eyes might notice too that this modded Spectre is now riding slightly closer to terra firma, as Spofec has installed a lowering kit on this Rolls-Royce’s adaptive air suspension that dropped its ride height by 35 mm. The tuning firm asserts their lowering kit will slightly improve the handling of the all-electric behemoth, but importantly not ruin its famed “Magic Carpet” ride.

Elsewhere on this Spofec Spectre are darkened chrome exterior accents that replaces its traditional brightwork, while the only bit that isn’t blacked-out on it being its bright blue Rolls-Royce emblems on either end to match its Tiffany Blue interior within. The rump of this roller in turn gains a subtle lip spoiler and exposed diffuser fins below its rear bumper, just to round off the aero enhancement package.

Spofec currently claims that the bodykit it has added to the Spectre is not just for show, as it supposedly helps reduce front lift and improves overall airflow to strike an “optimal aerodynamic balance”. Aside from the suspension and aero enhancements however, the tuning firm has elected to leave the EV powertrain of this Rolls-Royce as it is from the factory.

This therefore sees the dual-motor all-electric powertrain of the Spectre still generate a combined 584 PS and 660 895 Nm of torque, which could see this coupe go from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. Powering said drive units in turn in this Rolls-Royce is a massive 120 kWh battery, that is supposedly good for a total WLTP-claimed driving distance of 428 km on a single charge.

Pricing for the standard Spectre in Malaysia presently starts from RM 2,000,000, before options and taxes of course. No word yet on how much this Spofec kit costs, but those who have the means to afford a Roller will likely not be too bothered about this particular aspect…
