Setel Savers Membership Adds Rewards and Cashback Across Setel Services
Setel has introduced Setel Savers, a paid membership that provides additional rewards and selected benefits across eligible transactions within the Setel ecosystem.
The membership covers services including fuel, parking, car care, EV charging, DuitNow QR payments, Kedai Mesra purchases, bills and selected shopping transactions.
Members can earn additional Mesra Rewards points through eligible fuel milestones, DuitNow QR payments, selected non-fuel spending, Kedai Mesra purchases and EV charging. Eligible car-care and mobility transactions can also provide cashback.
Across the available benefits, members can receive more than 1,100 Mesra Rewards points and up to RM60 in cashback, subject to the applicable eligibility requirements and terms.
Setel Savers can also be used alongside selected Setel campaigns where applicable. Mesra Rewards points earned through the membership can be converted into Setel Credit for use on subsequent Setel transactions.
The membership is also available to users who do not drive. DuitNow QR payments, bills, Kedai Mesra purchases and other supported transactions can qualify for benefits, while EV charging provides an additional eligible transaction category for electric vehicle users.
Setel Family Wallet is another feature within the Setel ecosystem. It allows an account owner to manage and share funds with family members for Setel spending, with eligible transactions continuing to earn rewards.
New Setel Savers subscribers receive a one-month free trial. Following the trial period, the membership costs RM4.90 per month.
Setel Savers does not require users to use every service within the Setel ecosystem. The available rewards and cashback depend on the type of transaction and the applicable membership terms.
The membership is currently positioned around existing Setel services rather than requiring users to change their usual payment, mobility or spending routines.
