Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s Robust After-Sales Support Gives EV Buyers Peace of Mind
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has been taking care of things behind the scenes so that EV ownership is a breeze.
As more Malaysian drivers consider making the switch to an electric vehicle (EV), Mercedes-Benz is going the extra mile to ensure a seamless ownership experience. The brand is doubling down on its after-sales service and spare parts support through significant investments in personnel training and infrastructure.
Building a Future-Ready Workforce
Mercedes-Benz has been nurturing automotive talent in Malaysia through its comprehensive Advanced Modern Apprenticeship program since 1984. Over 900 apprentices have graduated and now service the brand’s nationwide dealer network.
To prepare for EV adoption, Mercedes has introduced a specialized Electric Vehicle Specialist curriculum to train “Qualified High-Voltage Technicians” (QHVs).
Upon completing the three-year program, apprentices earn multiple globally-recognized certifications like SKM Level 3, C&G VRQ Level 3, and qualifications as Maintenance, System, Bodywork or High-Voltage Technicians. Employment at Mercedes-Benz dealerships is guaranteed post-apprenticeship.
Large Nationwide Dealer Network
The Mercedes-Benz Malaysia authorised dealer network stretches across the country with more than 31 premium outlets operated by seven dealer groups.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s network development push is part of a global initiative in line with the brand philosophy to create a uniform brand experience for Mercedes-Benz customers with superb quality services.
