Honda closing showrooms and factory until March 31st 2020

The Malaysian government has just issued a lockdown of all non necessary businesses in the country to curb the spread of the COVID-19 which has risen in the last few days. This has moved many businesses to relook their operations and some have had to take serious action and stop all movement until March 31st 2020.

Re: Honda Malaysia’s Business Operations on 18th – 31st March 2020 Statement date: 17th March 2020

Following the movement control order by the Government of Malaysia in light of the rise in COVID-19 cases, Honda Malaysia will close our business operations temporarily on 18th – 31st March 2020.

The business operations involved comprise Honda Malaysia’s plant in Pegoh (Melaka), sales office and dealerships nationwide.

We will resume business operations tentatively on 1st April 2020.

Honda Malaysia will continue to monitor the situation closely and update accordingly. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.
