Ford Raptor Rev To Take Place On 11th & 12th January 2025

Early bird registrations for this first-ever Raptor Rev are also now open at a fee of RM 275. 

Following its teaser announcement last month, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (Auto ConneXion) has since recently officially announced the dates for its Raptor Rev event. Touted as Malaysia’s first premier off-road experience, this ‘exhilarating journey like no other’ will take place on the weekend of the 11th and 12th of January 2025 at Bay 13, Sepang Circuit from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

In conjunction with the announcement, Auto ConneXion-Ford has also launched an exclusive event microsite, inviting owners of the Ford Ranger Raptor to register for this event, with only 50 spots up for grabs! 

From now until 13th December, owners of this Baja-bashing Blue Oval pickup can secure their spots at this event for an early bird fee of just RM 275 (Regular fee: RM 350). This exclusive offer further covers:

  • A personalised, Limited Edition Raptor Rev t-shirt and cap.
  • Full board meals and beverages.
  • Access to specialised workshops – covering theoretical and practical sessions focusing on off-road driving and vehicle performance. 
  • Autocross Challenge

Registration for Raptor Rev is now open, and can be performed via www.raptorrev.com.my 

Now those without their own Raptor need not miss out on the fun too, as the event is open to the public, with walk-in visitors entering for free. The first 100 who register online meanwhile will also receive complimentary F&B vouchers redeemable at on-site food trucks.

Participants of Raptor Rev will be engaging in immersive training sessions covering off-roading theories, suspension, tyres, jumping, drifting, Baja lap training and practical 4×4 obstacle trails. Exclusively for this event too, Patrick McConchie, a Ford expert will be flying in from Australia to conduct a workshop highlighting about Ranger Raptor’s FOX suspension. Upon completion of the theory and practical trainings, participants will compete in an Autocross Challenge, testing their skills against the clock. The winner will bring home a RM 3,000 fuel voucher. 

Other event highlights of Raptor Rev will include:

  • Hot Laps: Thrilling rides on the Baja course with experienced off-road driver instructor.
  • Free limited-edition Raptor Rev T-shirt for the first 100 Raptor owners who flash their key fobs on-site.
  • An opportunity to witness and test drive the capabilities of the Ranger Raptor firsthand. 
  • A fun-filled carnival with exciting performances and engaging activities.

The brand will provide technical support through insightful tyre talk sessions and hands-on guidance relating to tyres. Visitors to the event can also explore BFGoodrich’s booth that showcases its newly launched KO3 tyres, designed for unmatched durability and performance.
