Finance Minister Visits Putrajaya as BUDI Diesel Programme Rolls Out Nationwide

The BUDI MADANI Diesel (BUDI Diesel) programme has officially commenced nationwide, marking the rollout of the Government’s targeted diesel subsidy initiative for eligible Malaysians.

To mark the launch, Minister of Finance II, YB Senator Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, visited the Caltex service station in Presint 8, Putrajaya, to observe fuelling operations on the programme’s first day. He was accompanied by Tan Sri Johan Mahmood Merican, Secretary General of the Treasury, Leong Jee Wong, Country Chairman of Caltex Malaysia, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN).

The visit highlights the Government’s commitment to ensuring the BUDI Diesel programme is implemented smoothly and that targeted fuel subsidies are delivered efficiently to eligible recipients based on their operational needs.
