Klang Valley Subaru Workshops Remain Open During CMCO
Subaru Kota Kinabalu however will remain closed till the 20th of October.
Subaru owners within the Klang Valley region are still able to receive scheduled maintenance on their vehicles during this CMCO period. Though an appointment slot will need to be made before sending their Subarus in for the service.
TC Subaru Sdn. Bhd, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles locally, has confirmed that the authorised dealerships in central Malaysia will still be open to customers for scheduled maintenance and repairs throughout the CMCO period, that is currently from the 14th to 27th October. These dealerships include Subaru Kuala Lumpur, Subaru Cheras and Subaru Petaling Jaya.
Owners however are first required to contact their respective Subaru workshops and confirm an appointment slot before heading over, as no walk-ins will be welcome during this CMCO period. Customers will also need to adhere to the standard operating procedures implemented by the dealerships, which include ‘compulsory use of face masks and temperature checks, provision of contact details for contact tracing’. Adding on to that, only eight visitors are allowed in at any one time.
Enhanced cleaning and safe distancing measures have also been implemented by TC Subaru, for the health and safety of both its customers and its staff. All vehicles, work equipment and work areas in Subaru workshops are to be regularly sanitised.
Moreover, the Subaru showrooms located within the regions back under CMCO will be temporarily closed. Thus for the customers who have test drives scheduled or have outstanding paperwork to complete, sales consultants from the respective Subaru dealerships will be in contact to either reschedule these appointments to after the CMCO period or ‘arrange for alternative solutions such as digital transactions’.
Regarding to the sole Subaru dealership in Sabah, Subaru Kota Kinabalu will be closed till the 20th of October, in accordance with the stricter guidelines for the CMCO period in the state.

Customers who wish to service or repair their vehicles at Subaru Kuala Lumpur, Subaru Cheras and Subaru Petaling Jaya are required to contact the branches and confirm an appointment slot before heading down. The company will not be able to welcome walk-ins during this period.
For customers who had scheduled test drives or have outstanding paperwork to complete, sales consultants from the respective branches will be contacting them to reschedule their appointments or arrange for alternative solutions such as digital transactions.
Subaru Kota Kinabalu remains closed until 20 October.
Stringent Health and Safety Measures in Place
For the health and safety of everyone, TC Subaru has implemented enhanced cleaning and safe distancing measures in its branches.
They include compulsory use of face masks and temperature checks, provision of contact details for contact tracing, checking-in, sanitising of vehicles, work equipment and work areas, limited number of visitors to eight at any one time and social distancing markers.
