BYD Sime Motors has expanded its Klang Valley retail network with the opening of BYD Rawang on 19 October 2026. The showroom is operated by BE Autohaus under BE Group, marking the group’s third BYD outlet.
The new outlet brings BYD’s electric vehicle line-up closer to customers in Rawang and surrounding areas. It is located in the northern Klang Valley, where development is creating a growing customer base.
BYD Rawang spans 4,298 sq. ft. within a 10,803 sq. ft. site. Its European-inspired design features light-coloured finishes, balanced proportions and castle-inspired details. The showroom can display up to five vehicles and includes a customer lounge and a dedicated vehicle delivery room.
BE Group joined BYD’s Malaysian network in November 2022 with BYD Setia Alam, operated by BE Drive Auto. It later opened BYD Kota Kemuning under BE Motorworld in September 2024. The Rawang outlet is its third showroom under the brand. Since joining the network, BE Group has delivered 2,251 vehicles nationwide.
Showroom To Host Local Artists
BYD Rawang will also provide space for emerging local artists to exhibit and sell their work. The initiative aims to give creative talent more exposure while offering visitors an additional experience during showroom visits.
Selected artists will display their work for three months at a time, with exhibitions refreshed quarterly. Application guidelines and eligibility requirements will be announced through BYD Rawang’s official social media channels. The team will review applications and notify shortlisted artists directly.
Artists will retain 100% of the proceeds from artwork sales, as the showroom will not charge commission.
Opening Offers And BYD Network Expansion
To mark its opening, BYD Rawang is holding a launch open house from 19 to 30 October 2026. The event includes test drives, selected model offers and lucky draw prizes for customers who book during the period. Visitors can also view the showroom’s first local artist exhibition.
BYD Sime Motors continues to expand its retail and aftersales network across Malaysia. Its current network comprises 45 sales and marketing outlets, 33 aftersales facilities and 16 body and paint centres nationwide.
