Tiggo Cross Sports Edition Sneak Peak Offers New Insights Into The Car
Chery Malaysia gives a sneak peak to the upcoming car ahead of release
The Tiggo Cross Sports Edition will be the newest edition to the Tiggo Cross family with a focus placed on sports in its design and marketing. This lines up with Chery Malaysia supporting Olympians and Paralympians to backing athletes at every level.
The Hybrid SUV will have two variants: a hybrid variant and a Turbo variant. Both variants measure at 4318mm length 1830mm width and 1670mm height with a wheelbase of 2610mm. The hybrid variant has an engine power of 96 PS and engine torque of 120 Nm plus an electric power of 204 PS and electric torque of 310 Nm. The hybrid also has it’s own Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHS). The Turbo variant has an engine power of 147 PS and engine torque of 210 Nm with 6-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
On the exterior, sharpened with a sporty front and rear lip, the TIGGO CROSS Sport Edition has a street-ready stance that turns heads from the car park to the finish line. It’s built for a generation that moves fast, plays hard and never blends in.
The interior of the car is also full of features like leather seats and steering wheel, 6 speakers, front centre armrest, cup, phone holder and a 10.25” infotainment head unit with wireless Apple Carplay™ & Android Auto™. There are even more features listed in the picture below:
As for safety, the Tiggo Cross has a total of 7 airbags in the hybrid variant and 6 airbags in the Turbo version. This is complemented by the 16 Advanced Driving Assistant Systems (ADAS) featured in the hybrid variant all listed in the picture below:
