The Jetta M6 EV sedan from the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture began pre-sales in China at 80,800 yuan (49,000 MYR). The Jetta M6 will enter the domestic market soon.
The mid-sized sedan with dimensions of 4806mm length, 1868mm width and 1895mm height with a wheelbase of 2820mm the M6 comes in at 68mm longer than the Volkswagen Jetta. The M6 also comes with six colour options for this model: blue, purple, silver, white, black, and golden.
Inside, it comes with a 15.6-inch center screen, an 8.88-inch instrument cluster, and a few physical controls as standard. The interior also has different options for colour schemes: gray, white, and purple. There are three variant models of the Jetta M6 which listed with their prices below:
- Jetta M6 465 Pro – 80,800 yuan (49155 MYR)
- Jetta M6 555 Max – 90,800 yuan (55,240 MYR)
- Jetta M6 555 Ultra – 99,800 yuan (60713 MYR)
The entry level Jetta M6 465 Pro, uses a 42.9 kWh battery for 465 km of CLTC range. It powers up a 113 kW electric motor that lets the car speed up to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. With 17-inch rims, the car boasts an energy consumption of 10.5 kWh per 100 km. This model’s equipment also includes Intelligent Cruise Control, Automatic Parking Assist, and a surround-view camera system with a transparent chassis.
Meanwhile, The Jetta M6 555 Max offers a 51.9 kWh battery for 555 km of CLTC range. With an electric motor for 145 kW, 18-inch rims this variant offers an energy consumption of 10.7 kWh per 100 km. Other features of this version are a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated power front seats, and a wireless phone charger.
Finally, The top-trim Jetta M6 555 Ultra adds the L2 assisted driving system with Navigate On Autopilot (NOA) on urban roads and highways. It also has massaged front seats with a lumbar adjustment, 256-color ambient lighting, and lit-up door handles.
