Kia Strengthens East Malaysia Presence with New Kuching 3S Dealership

The new Kia Kuching Heng Lian 3S Centre expands sales and aftersales support in Sarawak while supporting Kia’s growing national network.

Kia Sales Malaysia has strengthened its presence in East Malaysia with the official opening of the new Kia Kuching Heng Lian Enterprise Bhd 3S Dealership in Kuching, Sarawak.

Strategically located in Kuching’s financial and business district, the new facility is part of Kia’s wider strategy to improve customer accessibility and strengthen its sales and aftersales network across Malaysia. The dealership is also designed to support both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) customers.

Kia Sales Malaysia President and CEO, Hyung Ho Kim, said the new dealership brings the brand closer to customers in East Malaysia while reinforcing Kia’s commitment to delivering a seamless ownership experience and high standards of customer care.

The facility represents a RM1.5 million investment by Heng Lian Enterprise Berhad and spans 4,796 sq. ft. It features a showroom capable of displaying three vehicles, while its two-bay service centre can accommodate up to 260 vehicles per month. The dealership is also equipped with Kia’s latest diagnostic equipment, alongside a customer lounge, complimentary Wi-Fi and pantry facilities.

Established in 1984, Heng Lian Enterprise Berhad brings more than four decades of automotive industry experience in Sarawak. The company specialises in new passenger vehicles, motorcycles, used commercial vehicles and hire-purchase financing.

With the opening of the Kuching outlet, Kia Sales Malaysia now operates 26 dealerships nationwide, further expanding its support network for customers across the country. The new 3S centre is located at Lot 106 & 107, Jalan Abell, Kuching, Sarawak.

The dealership opening comes as Kia continues to see strong global momentum. During the first half of 2026, Kia recorded 1,630,988 global sales, its highest-ever first-half performance, while electrified vehicle retail sales increased 60% year-on-year to 296,000 units.

With its expanded retail and service presence in Sarawak, Kia aims to provide customers in East Malaysia with easier access to its vehicles, aftersales services and evolving range of electrified mobility solutions.
