2,000+ Malaysians Have Already Ordered Themselves A Jetour

The two Jetour models currently offered locally are the Dashing 5-seat SUV and VT9 7-seat SUV.

Despite only arriving in Malaysia three months ago, Jetour has already made a reasonably impressive impact on the local automotive market. The Chery-owned brand has recently announced that it has received over 2,000 bookings in Malaysia, with more than 1,000 vehicles already delivered to customers over here.

There are currently two Jetour models offered locally: the Dashing 5-seat SUV and VT9 7-seat SUV. Both of which are locally assembled right here in Johor, with its prices starting from RM 109,800 and RM 118,800 respectively.

Supporting this rapid growth is Jetour’s expanding retail and service network. As of August 2025, the brand operates 20 authorised dealerships across Peninsular Malaysia, offering Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and Body & Paint facilities.

The Klang Valley is particularly well covered, with outlets in Bukit Jalil, Klang, Cheras, Sungai Long, Setia Alam, Kepong, Damansara, Puchong, Shah Alam (Glenmarie), Jalan Kuching, and Ampang. In the northern region meanwhile, Jetour customers are served by outlets in Ipoh, Penang, and Alor Setar, whereas Johor Bahru and Melaka anchor their southern presence.

“The growth of our sales and service network in Malaysia demonstrates the trust and enthusiasm local customers have shown towards Jetour,” said Fu Yong, Chief Executive Officer of Jetour Malaysia. “We are committed to delivering high-quality vehicles and a seamless ownership experience, bringing the Jetour spirit of adventure closer to every Malaysian driver.”

According to Sales Director Mohd. Azhar, the goal is to ensure every Malaysian is within convenient reach of a Jetour 3S centre, while Aftersales Director Alex Wong emphasised the brand’s strong focus on warranty, genuine spare parts availability, and professional servicing.

Each dealership offers customers the opportunity to test drive the latest Jetour models in modern, welcoming environments. Many outlets feature premium lounges, dedicated service bays, and technicians trained by the Jetour Global Academy, ensuring world-class after-sales support.

Looking ahead, Jetour plans to expand to 30 dealerships nationwide by the end of 2025, with new locations in Petaling Jaya, Putrajaya, Kota Damansara, Sungai Petani, Bayan Lepas, Kuantan, Kota Bharu, and even East Malaysia, with centres opening in Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, and more.

As for what models is to come in the pipeline meanwhile, Jetour had teased that it will soon be launching its Defender-esque T1 and T2 boxy off-roaders over here. There are also reports of the brand exploring entry into the pickup truck market, with what could well be a local-first to feature a PHEV powertrain.
