There Are Already Over 4,000 Proton e.MAS 7s On The Road

The Proton e.MAS 7 has also proudly topped the local EV sales charts for the past six consecutive months.
No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you, there really are quite a number of Proton e.MAS 7s on the road these days. In fact, our national automaker recently announced that over 4,000 units have already been delivered nationwide.
Between 1 January and 30 June 2025, a total of 4,003 e.MAS 7s found homes across Malaysia. The model also continued its winning streak in June, once again emerging as the country’s best-selling EV for the month with a 23.4% market share, solidifying its position as Malaysia’s No. 1 electric vehicle for the sixth month running.
Beyond its local popularity too, Proton has begun exporting the e.MAS 7 to select international markets. To date, around 250 units have been shipped abroad, with key destinations including Singapore, Brunei, and most recently, Trinidad and Tobago.
Despite it only launching late last year, the e.MAS 7 has already received a mild refresh. The most notable updates include wireless Apple CarPlay support (with Android Auto expected in Q4), a revised low-speed pedestrian warning system with updated sound profiles, and the factory-fitment of a tonneau cover for added practicality.
The e.MAS 7 continues to be offered in two familiar variants: Prime and Premium. Both feature a front-mounted ‘12-in-1 Electric Drive System’ producing 160 kW (218 PS) and 320 Nm of torque. This setup enables the all-electric SUV to sprint from 0–100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 175 km/h.
Powering both variants is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack made up of Aegis Short Blade cells. The Prime version gets a 49.52 kWh unit with a WLTP-rated range of 345 km, while the Premium variant steps things up with a 60.22 kWh pack offering up to 410 km of range.
Pricing for the Prime and Premium variants of the e.MAS 7 still remain at the original launch figure of RM 105,800 and RM 119,800 respectively (inclusive of a RM 4,000 ‘Welcome Benefit’). Pro-Net is also currently offering buyers of this e-SUV a ‘Power Pack+’ sales bundle to further sweeten the deal, which includes a complimentary 7 kW wallbox home charger (worth RM 1,500), a V2L adaptor (worth RM 500), five years of unlimited internet data (valued at RM 1,800), and a RM 5,000 ‘Power Exchange’ trade-in rebate.
“We truly appreciate the strong support Malaysians have shown for the e.MAS 7,” said Mr. Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of PRO-NET. “From the beginning, the e.MAS 7 was priced fairly and built to deliver real value. The overwhelming response has enabled us to grow steadily month after month. Our focus remains on building lasting trust and value for our customers, rather than relying on heavy discounts to drive short-term gains.”
