The 2026 Lotus Emeya Could Now Be Had From Just RM 459,000

Lotus Cars Malaysia adds two new variants to the local Emeya lineup for the 2026 model year.

While it has only been on sale in Malaysia for just a year (to the day, in fact), Lotus has already decided it was time to give the local Emeya range a refresh. This largely results in slight tweaking to the range, adding two additional variants for a total of five.

Though what is likely a tad more exciting is that the entry price for the Emeya now starts at just RM 459,000, for the new base 600 variant. This represents a hefty RM 96,000 reduction from the RM 555,000 buyers were looking to spend if they wanted this all-electric hyper-GT last year.

The complete 2026 lineup breaks down as follows::

  • Emeya 600 – RM 459,000
  • Emeya 600 GT SE – RM 519,000
  • Emeya 600 Sport SE – RM 599,000
  • Emeya 900 Sport – RM 699,000
  • Emeya 900 Sport Carbon – RM 729,000

Alongside these model changes, the updated line-up adopts a new naming structure where the 600 and 900 in each variant’s name reflect the power output in metric horsepower. This incidentally follows the naming revival seen in the Emira Turbo SE, and is said to draw on Lotus’ rich heritage while bringing it into the electric era.

Now delving a little deeper into the spec sheet and starting with the entry-level Emeya 600 at RM 459,000, key highlights with this new base spec that are worth a mention include for it to feature adaptive air suspension with Continuous Damping Control, 20-inch alloys, KEF Premium 15-speaker audio, a massive 29-inch head-up display, four-zone climate control, and the Jasper interior theme finished in sustainable LotusWear Performance Fabric.

Moving up the range meanwhile, the Emeya 600 GT SE at RM 519,000 steps up with 21-inch alloys, a parking pack, six-piston brakes, an intelligent glass roof, hands-free tailgate, configurable ambient lighting, and illuminated side sills. The Emeya 600 Sport SE in turn at RM 599,000 focuses on driving dynamics, adding the Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack, active aero (rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and front air dam), ventilated and massaging seats, and soft-close doors.

As for those seeking ultimate performance, the Emeya 900 Sport at RM 699,000 adds another 300 horses to the stable, not to mention comes also as standard with the Dynamic Handling Pack, active aero, and a Quartz interior with LotusWear trim. At the top of the range, the Emeya 900 Sport Carbon at RM 729,000 adds extended carbon fibre exterior and interior packages, alongside luxury touches such as ventilated and massaging front seats.

All Emeyas are dual-motor, all-wheel-drive. The 600 variants deliver 603 hp and 710 Nm, hitting 0–100 km/h in 4.15 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. The 900 variants in turn push 905 hp and 985 Nm, rocketing from 0–100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds before eventually topping out at 256 km/h.

Every Emeya is equipped with a 102 kWh battery pack. The 600 offers up to 610 km of WLTP range, while the 900 delivers 485 km. Both support 800-volt architecture and ultra-fast DC charging at up to 420 kW — enabling 10–80% top-ups in just 15 minutes. AC charging is rated at 22 kW.

Bookings for the 2026 Lotus Emeya range are now open at Lotus Cars Malaysia locations in Glenmarie, Pavilion Damansara Heights, and Penang, with first deliveries expected to begin in September 2025.
