Porsche Celebrates 100 Years of Nürburgring With Exclusive 911 GT3

Limited to 100 units for Germany, the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring pays tribute to Porsche’s decades-long connection with the legendary “Green Hell”

Porsche is celebrating the Nürburgring’s 100th anniversary with the introduction of the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring, a special edition that pays tribute to one of the world’s most demanding and iconic racetracks. Set to celebrate its centenary in 2027, the Nürburgring has played a central role in Porsche’s motorsport history and continues to serve as a crucial testing ground for its production cars.

The special edition combines Porsche’s motorsport DNA with exclusive design details inspired by the legendary Eifel circuit. Customers can choose between White and GT Silver Metallic, complemented by distinctive green accents referencing the Nürburgring Nordschleife’s famous “Green Hell” nickname. The front section and rear trim are finished in a green wrap, while California Gold 20/21-inch forged aluminium wheels and Nürburgring-inspired graphics further distinguish the model.

For customers looking to take the 911 GT3 onto the circuit, an optional colour-coordinated Manthey Kit adds modified suspension, upgraded braking components and an enhanced aerodynamic package capable of generating up to 540kg of downforce at 285km/h. The kit’s performance was demonstrated by DTM champion Ayhancan Güven, who recorded a 6:50.853-minute lap around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Inside, the Nürburgring theme continues with a green roll cage, motorsport-inspired detailing and special “Welcome to the Green Hell” inscriptions on the door sills. The driver’s sports bucket seat features green accents and a Nürburgring logo, while the GT steering wheel includes a “Grüne Hölle” mode button. Buyers can choose between Porsche’s seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a six-speed manual gearbox.

The connection between Porsche and the Nürburgring stretches back decades, with the circuit playing an important role in the development and testing of Porsche’s sports cars. The 20.8km Nordschleife features 73 corners and around 300 metres of elevation change, providing one of the toughest environments for vehicle testing anywhere in the world. Porsche has also achieved numerous milestones at the circuit, including Timo Bernhard’s outright Nordschleife record of 5:19.546 minutes in the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo in 2018.

Only 100 examples of the Porsche 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring will be available for the German market, with orders opening in September 2026 and deliveries scheduled for 2027, coinciding with the Nürburgring’s 100th anniversary. Porsche will also offer buyers an exclusive Sonderwunsch Manthey Experience, providing behind-the-scenes access to Manthey’s motorsport operations and the capabilities of the Manthey Kit.

To complete the celebration, Porsche Design will offer an exclusive Chronograph 1 – 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring watch exclusively to buyers of the special edition, featuring design elements inspired directly by the car.
