Happening at Farley Mall, Kuching this weekend on 23rd and 24th August 2025 from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m, this action-packed event gives the public a rare chance to conquer extreme heights while witnessing the Mitsubishi Triton’s off-road dominance.
Visitors will experience an adrenaline-fuelled ride up a dramatic 45-degree peak ramp with professional instructors behind the wheel, highlighting the Triton’s power and hill-climb control. Guests can also take the driver’s seat themselves, navigating through a series of specially designed obstacle courses that demonstrate the Triton’s superior performance across demanding terrains.
The Red Peak Challenge Obstacles
Red Peak Climb
The highlight of the event, the 45-degree Red Peak Climb, is purpose-built to showcase the Triton’s exceptional climbing power. Backed by its robust engine and advanced control systems, the Triton scales the steep incline with confidence, giving riders a thrilling glimpse of its off-road mastery.
Side Traverse Ramp
The 35-degree side ramp demonstrates how the Triton maintains stability and rigidity when one wheel lifts off the ground. This challenge proves the effectiveness of its reinforced chassis and 4WD system in keeping traction, even in extreme conditions.
Roller Ramp
Inspired by muddy plantations and construction sites, this obstacle simulates a stuck situation. Thanks to the Triton’s Super Select 4WD-II system with 7 Drive Modes, power is evenly distributed across all wheels for smooth recovery. Mud Mode in particular ensures drivers can pull through the toughest conditions with ease.
Staircase Ramp
This test mimics uneven road conditions and steep downhill slopes. With Rock Mode engaged, the Triton glides over the challenge while passengers remain comfortable inside its well-appointed cabin, highlighting both capability and ride refinement.

Those who test drive or book a Triton during the event will be entered into the Red Peak Challenge Lucky Draw, held daily at 5.00 p.m. Prizes up for grabs include a Naturehike Camping Wagon (RM 500), a Mitsubishi Poler Chair (RM 300), and a Mitsubishi USB Portable Fan (RM 200). Each test drive earns one entry, while a vehicle booking secures two.
