MAS Partners Mercedes-Benz For Their New KLIA Terminal Limos
The more atas MAS passengers will now be ferried between the terminal and satellite building of KLIA in Mercedes-Benzes instead of BMWs.
High-flyers at Malaysia Airlines (MAS) rejoice, as Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) and Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the parent company of our national flag carrier, have recently entered in a groundbreaking partnership that promises to revolutionise premium travel services for you. The strategic alliance marks a significant milestone in combining German automotive excellence, with the best of Malaysian Hospitality.
Now the partnership’s centrepiece features Malaysia Airlines’ new Private Terminal Transfer Service, launching January 16, 2025. Replacing the prior fleet of BMW i7s, a premium fleet comprising of the Mercedes-Benz S 580 e Plug-in Hybrid and all-electric EQS 500 4MATIC will now instead facilitate 24/7 seamless transfers between KLIA Terminal 1’s Main Terminal and the Satellite Building, for those lucky enough to be Enrich Platinum members or flying Business Class and above on MAS flights that is.
Though interestingly enough, starting March 1st 2025, those who fly coach could also have a chance to sample the Private Terminal Transfer too. All that is required is just the small matter of purchasing of a brand new Mercedes-Benz this year.
As part of this partnership, Malaysia Airlines Enrich Platinum and Gold members meanwhile will in turn be further receiving exclusive access to specially curated #MyMercedesRewards on selected electric and plug-in hybrid Mercedes-Benz models. Additionally, Enrich Platinum and Enrich Gold members who purchase a Mercedes-Benz in 2025 will get to take part in an exclusive trip to Germany for an experience of the Mercedes-Benz brand.
Premium patrons of both brand will also be gaining access to a plethora of exclusive events held this year. Mercedes-Benz customers will be invited to participate in special Malaysia Airlines Enrich events, while Enrich Platinum and Gold members will receive invitations to exclusive Mercedes-Benz Malaysia events, creating a comprehensive luxury lifestyle experience.
This alliance represents a significant step forward in luxury service integration, combining Mercedes-Benz’s automotive innovation with Malaysia Aviation Group’s world-class hospitality. Through this partnership, both companies aim to establish new benchmarks in premium customer service, creating a more integrated and sophisticated travel experience for their discerning clientele.
Amanda Zhang, CEO & President of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, emphasised the company’s dedication to creating exceptional “Mercedes Moments” where advanced technology converges with classic elegance. The partnership aligns with Mercedes-Benz’s status as the “most valuable luxury automotive brand” in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2024, reinforcing their commitment to innovation and premium service delivery.
Philip See, Chief Executive Officer of Loyalty & Travel Services at MAG, highlighted how the collaboration enhances both in-flight and ground services, strengthening Malaysia Airlines’ premium service offerings while embodying Malaysian Hospitality. The partnership introduces several exclusive benefits for elite customers of both brands.
