Malaysia’s 1st Flagship Suzuki Showroom Opens In Petaling Jaya

This new flagship Suzuki dealership currently occupies the premises where the Ferrari showroom once operated.

The NAZA Automotive Group has recently officially opened Malaysia’s first flagship Suzuki Cars showroom. This premiere premier retail destination for those who might desire a new Jimny or Swift Sport is situated in Petaling Jaya next to the renowned NAZA Auto Mall along the Federal Highway, incidentally filling the space where the Ferrari showroom once operated.

Designed to transcend traditional car sales outlets, the facility incorporates Suzuki’s latest corporate identity and contemporary design elements. Within its 5,000 square feet of premises are vibrant display zones, integrated service counters, a sophisticated lifestyle lounge with a dedicated kids’ corner, as well as private consultation rooms.

The Petaling Jaya facility will function as the exclusive showcase venue for all future Suzuki models entering the Malaysian market, establishing itself as the central hub for Suzuki’s brand experience and new product launches nationwide. Coinciding with the grand opening, customers can access exclusive mid-year promotions and specially tailored loyalty programmes designed to reward both new and existing owners.

Dato’ Jasmy Ismail, Chairman of NAZA Automotive Group, emphasized that the flagship showroom launch embodies the company’s broader vision to future-proof operations while deepening engagement with Malaysian consumers in today’s experience-driven automotive market.

“This flagship showroom represents NAZA Auto’s transformation into a leaner, more agile, and customer-focused automotive group,” Dato’ Jasmy explained. “It reflects our strategic realignment to concentrate on core, high-impact segments like Suzuki, which remains one of Malaysia’s most trusted and dynamic brands in compact and urban mobility.”

This latest flagship showroom launch forms part of NAZA Auto’s comprehensive realignment strategy, focusing resources on profitable automotive brands while streamlining non-core lifestyle segments. Suzuki Cars Malaysia is touted to serve as a strategic growth pillar under this roadmap, with ambitious expansion plans for dealership networks over the coming years.

Earlier this year, NAZA Auto indicated its upcoming intention to expand Suzuki’s dealer network  to Kuching, Klang, Muar, Langkawi, and Labuan. The automaker’s latest physical retail outlet was its Jalan Anson showroom in Georgetown, Penang, incidentally third branch in the country after original Petaling Jaya outlet and another one in Johor Bahru.

Having made its local comeback in 2021, the current Suzuki lineup consists of the Jimny off-roader (available in both 3-door and 5-door variants) as well as the Swift Sport. There were previously rumours that the Indian-made all-electric e-Vitara was set to arrive locally, but those whispers have since grown quieter in recent times.

These expansion initiatives will supposedly be supported by various innovative digital engagement platforms, cutting-edge aftersales solutions, and customised loyalty programmes designed to meet evolving customer expectations in Malaysia’s competitive automotive landscape.

Dato’ Jasmy concluded: “NAZA Auto reaffirms its confidence in Malaysia’s automotive industry growth potential, particularly in compact SUV and crossover segments where Suzuki’s versatility, reliability, and distinctive style continue resonating strongly with consumers.”
