KTM Malaysia Launches 990 RC R and Three 1390 Super Adventure Models
KTM Malaysia has launched four new flagship motorcycles covering its Supersport and Adventure segments. Introduced by official importer and distributor Eurotech Group (ETG), the lineup comprises the KTM 990 RC R, 1390 Super Adventure S, 1390 Super Adventure R and 1390 Super Adventure S Evo.
Prices start at RM113,000 for the KTM 990 RC R. All four models come with a four-year unlimited mileage warranty.

KTM 990 RC R
The KTM 990 RC R is a road-legal Supersport motorcycle with MotoGP-inspired styling and aerodynamics. Its 947 cc LC8c parallel-twin engine produces 127.84 PS and 103 Nm of torque.
Integrated aerodynamic winglets generate up to 14.4 kg of downforce at 252 km/h. The motorcycle also features WP APEX fully adjustable suspension, Brembo HyPure four-piston callipers and cornering ABS with four ABS modes.
Riders can select Street, Rain, Sport and Custom modes through the 8.8-inch TFT display. Its valve clearance maintenance interval has also increased to 30,000 km, up from 15,000 km.
KTM 1390 Super Adventure S
The KTM 1390 Super Adventure S uses a 1,350 cc V-twin engine producing 173 PS and 145 Nm of torque. Its WP Semi-Active Technology suspension adjusts to changing riding conditions.
The motorcycle also receives an improved windscreen with an additional 15 mm of adjustability and an LED headlight with cornering lights. An 8-inch portrait-oriented TFT touchscreen provides offline map navigation and glove-friendly controls.
Its valve clearance maintenance interval now stands at 60,000 km, compared with 30,000 km previously.
KTM 1390 Super Adventure R
The KTM 1390 Super Adventure R is designed for more demanding off-road riding. Its 1,350 cc V-twin produces 175 PS and 145 Nm of torque.
It uses WP XPLOR suspension and an off-road-focused windscreen. Other features include a single-unit seat and tubeless wire-spoked wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear. These are paired with aggressive adventure-knobby tyres.
Like the Super Adventure S, the R variant has a 60,000 km valve clearance maintenance interval and an 8-inch portrait-oriented TFT touchscreen.
KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo
The KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo produces 173 PS and 145 Nm from its 1,350 cc V-twin engine. It combines WP Semi-Active Suspension Technology with an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT).
The AMT allows clutchless operation by managing the clutch during starting, stopping and gear changes. Riders can switch between manual and fully automatic shifting modes.
The model also features a fifth-generation Bosch front radar sensor and Adaptive Cruise Control as standard. Its windscreen offers an additional 15 mm of adjustability, while the valve clearance maintenance interval is set at 60,000 km.
All four motorcycles are available through authorised KTM dealerships nationwide. The dealers have received specialised training and international certification from KTM Austria.
