Jetour Malaysia Debuts The Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition

This Dark Warrior Limited Edition essentially adds a bit of black badging and wheels to the Dashing.

While many may be flocking to Jetour showrooms to place an order for its chunky T2 4×4, they will likely also spot something rather menacing on display. Such is as the Chinese automaker has recently debuted a new Dark Warrior Limited Edition of its Dashing, which in essence is a blacked-out package for the flagship Prime variant of its debut SUV over here.

Following in the footsteps of its sister brand Omoda Jaecoo with their own take on a blacked-out curvy SUV, the new Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition pretty much brings to the table a set of black emblems and 19-inch “Phantom Spec” (read:black) alloy wheels. Jetour has nevertheless at least given this dark theme a bit of pop though, with the addition of red brake calipers.

Given that this is (the mildest of mild) aesthetic enhancement package, it comes as no surprise that the rest of the car remains unchanged. The sleekly styled SUV still sports a large front grille flanked by split-matrix LED headlights, with a pair of slim ‘Mecha-Eyes’ daytime running lights (DRLs) sitting atop.

Moving inside meanwhile, the Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition continues with the same kit list as the Prime variant on which it is based. The minimalist, button-less dashboard houses a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also to be found within are keyless entry and start, leather upholstery, powered front seats, interior ambient lighting, automatic climate control with rear vents and a CN95 filter, a 50W wireless charging pad, four USB ports, and a six-speaker audio system.

Under the bonnet, the Dashing continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque, which is shared with the Chery Omoda 5. Drive is sent exclusively to the front wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, with the SUV offering three drive modes: Economy, Comfort and Sport.

This added bit of black will set buyers back an additional RM 1,000 over the regular Prime variant, with the Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition priced at RM 116,800. This Chinese SUV is backed by a five-time free service package, a seven-year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty, and a 10-year / 1,000,000 km engine warranty.

Mr. Fu Yong, Chief Executive Officer of Jetour Auto Malaysia said, “The Jetour Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition is an exciting addition to our lineup in Malaysia. This limited edition offers a bold, distinctive look for drivers who want to reflect their style, without compromising everyday practicality. Malaysia is a key market for us, and we are confident this edition will resonate with those seeking a vehicle that combines design, comfort, and versatility. We remain committed to providing quality vehicles and building strong connections with the local community.”
