Honda Malaysia Marks 25 Years With RM 1 Million Lucky Draw

Six new cars could be won from the biggest lucky draw to ever be organised by Honda Malaysia.
Honda Malaysia is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion the company has launched its 25th Anniversary “Because of You” Campaign. Running from 1st October to 31st December 2025, this three-month celebration is one of the brand’s most ambitious campaigns to date, featuring exclusive customer programmes and a lucky draw with prizes worth up to RM 1 million.
The highlight of the anniversary campaign is the biggest lucky draw in Honda Malaysia’s history, with six new Honda models up for grabs. These include the WR-V RS, City RS, City Hatchback RS, Civic RS, HR-V and the CR-V e:HEV RS. On top of that, Honda Insurance Plus (HiP) rebates are also part of the reward pool.
Customers who test drive or register any Honda model at authorised dealerships nationwide during the campaign period will receive lucky draw entries, with more entries increasing their chances of driving home a brand-new Honda. Two winners will be announced every month through Honda Malaysia’s official Facebook page and dealer network.
Beyond the lucky draw, the campaign introduces several customer-centric programmes designed to reward loyalty and encourage upgrades. The Honda Loyalist and Loyalist Plus Programme offers substantial benefits to existing Honda owners, extending cash rebates or service vouchers worth up to RM 2,000. This programme notably extends to immediate family members of current Honda car owners and even includes Honda motorcycle owners, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to its entire customer base.
For those considering an upgrade to a newer model, the Upgrader Programme provides incentives of up to RM 1,500 in rebates or service vouchers for specific models like the City and WR-V. Government servants receive special recognition through a dedicated programme offering an additional RM 1,500 rebate when purchasing the City, Civic, or New HR-V during the promotional period.
The celebration also encompasses practical benefits that make Honda ownership more accessible and affordable. A trade-in programme through Honda Certified Used Cars operates at selected dealerships, while enhanced financing solutions provide greater flexibility for prospective buyers. Existing owners benefit from a generous 25% discount on selected after-sales parts, including essential components like the belt alternator, link stabilisers, lower arm, and absorber.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Narushi Yazaki reflected on the significance of reaching this quarter-century mark. Since its establishment in 2000, Honda Malaysia has navigated numerous challenges while achieving remarkable growth. Yazaki emphasized that the company’s “Challenging Spirit” has driven its evolution into a comprehensive automotive marque deeply committed to serving Malaysians and maintaining relevance in society.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation to Honda customers for their unwavering trust, while also acknowledging the vital support from the Malaysian Government, dealer network, and various stakeholders. This collaborative effort has enabled Honda Malaysia to secure the number one position in the non-national passenger vehicle segment for an impressive 11 consecutive years.
Honda Malaysia’s 25-year journey has been closely tied to local innovation and production. Local assembly began at the Pegoh Plant in 2003 with the CR-V, followed by the introduction of hybrid technology with the Civic Hybrid in 2004. In 2014, the company expanded its production capacity to 100,000 units annually with the opening of its No. 2 line. These milestones were capped off with the achievement of its one-millionth sales unit in 2021 and its one-millionth production unit in 2022.
For those being pedantic however, it’s worth noting that Hondas have been around in Malaysia for considerably longer than the 25 years since the parent company formally established its local operations. In fact, the first time the big H made its mark in Malaysia was actually all the way back in 1958.
Also one other thing that was kept quiet from this 25th birthday bash of Honda’s is for them to have recently dropped the price of its e:N1 by a whopping RM 34,000. This premiere EV of the big H to land locally could now be yours from just RM 115,900, which is a healthy chunk lower than the RM 149,900 price tag it originally was wearing when it initially landed locally just 5 months ago.
