Auto ConneXion Launches Ford Mobile Service Scheme Locally

This new Ford Mobile Service scheme aims to brings car maintenance right to your doorstep.

As pleasant as it may be to relax with a cup of coffee at a dealership lounge while your car is being serviced, finding the time to actually go in for maintenance can still be a hassle. And thus recognising this, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford (Auto ConneXion) has recently introduced the Ford Mobile Service (FMS), a new initiative that aims to take the chore out of car servicing, by bringing it to you instead!

Rolling out initially as a pilot programme from the Ford Ara Damansara dealership, the Ford Mobile Service is designed to offer maximum convenience without compromising on quality. Customers can now access a full range of light repair and maintenance services — such as engine oil changes, battery replacements, and even multipoint inspections — without ever stepping foot in a service centre.

With flexibility at its core, FMS allows customers to book certified Ford technicians to perform essential vehicle services at a time and location of their choosing. All work will also be carried out using genuine Ford parts and manufacturer-approved tools, ensuring the same level of quality and peace of mind as a visit to a traditional service centre.

The Ford Mobile Service currently operates from Monday to Friday with four service slots available between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM, and on Saturdays with two slots from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A fixed call-out fee applies for service locations within a 20-kilometre radius of the Ford Ara Damansara dealership, with additional charges applicable for distances beyond this area.

Starting this June, customers can book their appointments through the SDM OneGo app—available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The app allows users to schedule services, select preferred time slots, and manage bookings with ease. Alternatively, appointments can also be made via the Ford Ara Damansara customer hotline at 03-7621 5111.

To celebrate the launch, Auto ConneXion is offering an exclusive limited-time promotion on the standard call-out fee, which will be available once booking goes live. This introductory offer invites customers to experience the added convenience and efficiency of the Ford Mobile Service firsthand.

Following the pilot phase at Ford Ara Damansara, Auto ConneXion has plans to expand the Ford Mobile Service to more dealerships across the country in the near future.
