Every Raya season, the highways are always jammed pack with people going back to their hometowns to visit their relatives. As one can expect, when the roads are filled with vehicles, the chances for accidents are higher than usual. To combat this, Allianz are taking a step to help its customers on the road. Allianz are stationing the Road Rangers around various rest and service areas (R&Rs) at major highways in Malaysia.
Between 30th April and 8th May, tow trucks provided by Allianz will be actively ready to help its customers with roadside assistance and accident assistance across various R&Rs on the North-South Expressway.

The Allianz Road Rangers will be stationed around several rest and service areas (R&Rs) across North-South Expressway, Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway and East Coast Expressway to offer accident and roadside assistance for its customers between 30 April and 8 May.
In anticipation of the high-volume traffic during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays, Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) will station Allianz Road Rangers at the following R&Rs – Gurun (Kedah), Tapah (Perak), Ulu Bernam (Tanjung Malim, Perak), Ayer Keroh (Melaka), Yong Peng (Johor), Genting Sempah (Karak Highway), Gambang and Maran (Pahang), Gua Musang (Kelantan), and Paka Arah (Kuala Terengganu).
All Allianz Motor Comprehensive (Private Car), Allianz Motorcycle Plus (Comprehensive), and Allianz Motorcycle (Comprehensive) policyholders in need of an accident or roadside assistance can call 1800-22-5542.
Allianz General Chief Claims Officer, Damian Williams, said: “This is a first of such an initiative. We know how everyone has been looking forward to celebrating this Hari Raya Aidilfitri and will be travelling to their hometowns and out of the Klang Valley. So, we have mobilised our tow trucks from our Allianz Road Ranger fleet to be strategically located to assist our customers.”

The Allianz Road Rangers is a nationwide motor roadside assistance service for cars and motorcycles.
