Coming soon right across from their flagship BMW showroom at Lot, 2779 Jalan Damansara, Sungai Penchala in the heart of Mutiara Damansara is Ingress Auto’s first ever Volvo Cars dealership.
Ingress has taken over the previous flagship Proton showroom in Mutiara Damansara and are renovating it right now. Work is almost complete and the Volvo signage is up. Back in May this year, www.dsf.my broke the news that 3 existing luxury car business owners were in the process of taking on Volvo as part of the multi brand business model. Ingress Auto was one.
Volvo Cars have been quiet for some years in Malaysia and only in recent years have they risen to challenge the established luxury brands like Audi, BMW, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz. Their sales have ben rising steadily with their collection of award winning SUV’s. The XC90, XC60 and the recently launched XC40 have been winning awards every month around the world and in Malaysia as well.
With this network expansion, Volvo Cars in Malaysia should be on the radar of the dominant German rivals and not to be taken too lightly.
