Honda Malaysia has launched the updated City Hatchback with refreshed styling, improved connectivity and additional safety features. The hatchback is available in three variants, with prices starting at RM95,900 before insurance.
The lineup consists of the V at RM95,900, Petrol RS at RM100,900 and e RS at RM112,900. The updated model joins the recently introduced City Sedan as part of Honda Malaysia’s B-segment lineup.
Updated exterior and interior
All variants receive a revised headlight layout with new connected headlights and Bi-LED headlights. The RS variants feature new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear, while the V uses Shark Gray wheels.
Four exterior colours are available: Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Stellar Diamond Pearl and the new Blazing Red Pearl.
Inside, the updated dashboard features a new 3D-pattern mid garnish and ambient lighting. The RS variants also receive redesigned sport seats with red stitching.
The infotainment system has been upgraded to a 10-inch Display Audio unit. A new wireless charger is also included.
The City Hatchback retains Honda’s ULTRA Seats, which offer Utility, Long, Tall and Refresh configurations. These allow the cabin to accommodate different passenger and cargo requirements.
Safety features standard across the range
Honda Malaysia has made Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitoring, Honda LaneWatch and Honda SENSING standard across all three variants.
The RS variants additionally receive a 360-degree Multi-View Camera System.
Buyers can choose between a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5-litre e hybrid powertrain. Honda Malaysia lists the e RS at 109 PS and 253 Nm of torque.
The hybrid variant comes with a 10-year unlimited-mileage hybrid battery warranty. Both petrol and hybrid variants receive an eight-year unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty, according to Honda Malaysia.
Launch offers and trade-in rebates
Customers who register a new City Hatchback during the launch campaign will receive an RM4,000 cash reward.
Current Honda owners who trade in their vehicles through the selected Honda Certified Used Car programme can receive an additional RM2,000 rebate. Customers trading in vehicles of any brand through CARSOME at participating authorised Honda dealers can receive an RM1,000 rebate.
