LUXEED to Host International Media Test Drive in China

LUXEED will host an international media test drive in Wuhu, China, from 18 to 24 October 2026. The event will take place alongside the 2026 Chery International User Summit, with 15 media representatives and key opinion leaders from the UAE, Thailand and Indonesia taking part.

The programme will give participants a chance to evaluate LUXEED’s latest models across different driving conditions. The route covers 185 km of highways and winding mountain roads before continuing at a professional proving ground.

The test drive will focus on three main areas: intelligent technology, driving performance and cabin comfort. These evaluations will give regional media a closer look at the features LUXEED hopes to bring to international markets.

Testing LUXEED’s Intelligent Features

Participants will test several of LUXEED’s driver assistance and connected vehicle systems during the drive. These include highway intelligent driving assistance, automated parking and connected vehicle controls.

The vehicles also feature a smart cockpit designed to provide easier access to information and vehicle functions. The test drive will allow participants to assess how these systems work during everyday driving.

The programme will cover more than driver assistance alone. LUXEED will also demonstrate how its technology integrates with the overall driving experience, including vehicle controls and parking functions.

Air Suspension and Rear-Wheel Steering

Driving dynamics will form another major part of the event. LUXEED plans to highlight its dual-chamber air suspension and integrated CDC/VMC systems, which help manage ride comfort and vehicle movement.

The vehicles also feature rear-wheel steering with an angle of up to ±7 degrees. This system can improve manoeuvrability and help the vehicle respond more precisely through corners.

At the proving ground, participants will assess the vehicles’ handling and powertrain performance under controlled conditions. The programme will provide a closer look at how LUXEED combines chassis engineering with its intelligent driving systems.

Luxury Features Inside the Cabin

The test drive will also showcase LUXEED’s interior comfort features. These include zero-gravity seats with power adjustment, memory settings, heating, ventilation and massage functions.

Participants will also experience the vehicles’ advanced sound system and in-car privacy sound shield mode. These features aim to improve comfort and provide a more private cabin environment.

By combining highway driving, mountain routes and proving-ground evaluations, LUXEED aims to demonstrate its approach to intelligent mobility. Coverage from the participating media and KOLs is expected to provide further insight into the vehicles’ performance and features.
