CKD Audi Q7 Launched In Malaysia Costing From RM 462,422

This Q7 SUV marks the first time that Audi has assembled a vehicle over here in Malaysia.
PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) has recently launched the locally assembled Q7 at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, marking the first time an Audi is being locally-assembled in not just Malaysia, but in fact Southeast Asia!
The Q7 lands locally in a sole S line 3.0 TFSI quattro trim with a price tag that starts from RM 462,422 on-the-road without insurance, inclusive of a standard two-year warranty. For those wanting more peace of mind meanwhile, the Audi Assurance Package adds a five-year warranty, maintenance, and roadside assistance for RM 20,000 extra, bringing the price to RM 482,422.
Under the hood of this massive Audi lies a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 with a 48 V mild-hybrid system, producing 340 PS and 500 Nm. Paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic gearbox and quattro all-wheel drive, the Q7 is capable of hustling its way from 0-100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds and hits a top speed of 250 km/h. The mild-hybrid system uses a belt-driven starter generator to allow engine-off coasting for up to 40 seconds between 55 and 160 km/h, helping improve fuel efficiency.
Drivers can select from up to seven driving modes using Audi Drive Select, with adaptive air suspension sport allowing the SUV to raise or lower its ride height by up to 60 mm for better clearance or improved aerodynamics. Also included is all-wheel steering, which helps the large SUV turn tighter at low speeds and remain more stable at highway speeds.
The exterior of the locally-assembled Q7 gets the full S line treatment along with the Black Styling Package Plus, adding black trim pieces to the grille, mirror caps, and roof rails, as well as darkened Audi rings. At all four corners sit 22-inch Audi Sport five-V-spoke star alloy wheels with a gloss turned finish, giving the Q7 a bold and planted stance. Lighting is another highlight, with HD Matrix LED headlights incorporating Audi Laser Light technology up front and digital OLED taillights at the rear, each with selectable light signatures for a customised look.
Inside, the Q7 offers a practical yet luxurious 2-3-2 seating layout. Access to the third row is made easier with electrically adjustable second-row seats, and both rear rows can be folded flat to create a maximum boot capacity of 1,908 litres. The seats are finished in quilted Valcona leather, and the front pair come with heating, ventilation, and memory functions. Other premium touches include power-latching doors, rear sunshades, ambient lighting, and a flat-bottomed leather steering wheel with paddle shifters.
The dashboard of the Q7 is dominated by three digital displays – a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus behind the steering wheel, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, and an 8.6-inch climate control and settings screen below it. The system runs Audi’s latest MIB 3 platform with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, along with Audi Connect features such as real-time traffic updates, remote vehicle monitoring, and emergency services. A head-up display and Qi wireless charging pad are also included as standard.
Sound is handled by a Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System with 19 speakers and a 16-channel, 730-watt amplifier. Practicality is further enhanced by a powered tailgate with kick sensor and adjustable ride height for easier loading, courtesy of the air suspension system.
Safety equipment in the Q7 is comprehensive, with Audi Pre Sense Front and Rear, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, park assist with 360-degree camera, and reverse AEB. There are also six ISOFIX anchor points spread across five seats, including the front passenger seat.
