This one-day off-road event is said to offer Ford Ranger Raptor enthusiasts ‘an exhilarating journey like no other’.
While it might not seem like it, but there are apparently over 4,000 units of this current-generation Ford Ranger Raptors already roaming the roads of Malaysia. And to those who might prefer to take their Baja-ready pickup off into the beaten path meanwhile, the Blue Oval marque may have just the thing for you with their newly-announced Ford Raptor Rev off-road event.
Set to take place some time in the first quarter of 2024, the Ford Raptor Rev is said to apparently be a one-day off-road event that will offer owners and enthusiasts of this latest iteration of the Blue Oval’s flagship pickup an ‘an exhilarating journey like no other’. Participants will be afforded the exclusive opportunity to fully unleash the off-road capabilities of their vehicles, through immersive driver training and an exciting autocross competition.
Beyond all the fun to be had with these pickups, this event further aims to foster connections among Raptor owners and the broader Ranger community too. The event is set to offer a platform for enthusiasts to share their passion, exchange tips and bond over their shared love for off-roading and adventure with their Blue Oval utes.
“Designed specifically for our local Raptor owners, this event promises a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience the full power of their vehicles in an exhilarating, immersive setting, while building camaraderie among like-minded individuals and the Ranger community,” said Turse Zuhair, Managing Director of SDAC-Ford.
Though while supposedly tailored to Raptor owners, this event is nevertheless open to other non-Ford owners as well. Further details are expected in the coming months, with said announcements to be made on the Blue Oval’s official social channels.
