2025 Vespa Sprint Tech 150 Launches in Malaysia at RM 22,900

This high-tech Vespa adds smartphone connectivity, an integrated navigation system and keyless go.
Vespa has recently expanded its Malaysian lineup with the new 2025 Sprint Tech 150, priced at RM 22,900. This is the fourth variant in the Sprint series to be available over here, joining the existing Sprint, Sprint S, and Sprint S TFT models in the local market.
The standout feature of the 2025 Sprint Tech is its enhanced smartphone connectivity, seamlessly integrated with a new 5-inch full-colour instrument panel. This upgraded display provides comprehensive information such as incoming and missed calls, message notifications, music controls, and even social media alerts.
For the first time in a Vespa, an integrated navigation system is also featured. Once a destination is set via the Vespa Mia app, the dashboard shows real-time navigation details including estimated arrival time, distance remaining, current route, and alternative suggestions. Riders can choose destinations from recent locations and manage the entire navigation system directly from the dashboard.
The Sprint Tech further debuts an exclusive keyless system too, allowing riders to lock, unlock, and start the scooter without removing the key fob from their pocket. Additional controls on the electronic key enable access to under-seat storage and activate the Bike Finder function remotely.
The 2025 Sprint Tech maintains Vespa’s design philosophy while incorporating modern technology. New lighting elements on both sides of the leg shield backplate activate when using the “Bike Finder” function or starting the scooter. This two-wheeler is currently available in black, warm grey, and fluo-green.
Powering the scooter is a 155 cc 3-valve 4-stroke single-cylinder i-get engine that produces 8.9 kW at 7,250 rpm and 12.7 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm. It features electronic fuel injection, forced air cooling, and an automatic CVT transmission with torque server.
Handling and safety are supported by a single-arm front suspension with a helical spring and hydraulic shock absorber, while the rear uses a helical spring with 4-position adjustable preload. Braking is handled by a 200 mm front disc with ABS, and either a 140 mm drum (single-channel ABS) or 200 mm disc brake (dual-channel ABS) at the rear. The Sprint Tech rides on 110/70-12” front and 120/70-12” rear tubeless tyres.
Didi Group and Vespa are positioning the Sprint Tech 150 as a blend of innovation and classic design in the Malaysian market. This high-tech two-wheeler is currently available for purchase at all authorised Vespa dealers nationwide.
