12 Champions Crowned At Volvo Padel Open 2025

Over 416 players participated in what has since been deemed Malaysia’s biggest padel tournament.

The Volvo Padel Open 2025 has officially wrapped up after six electrifying weekends, cementing its reputation as Malaysia’s biggest and most exciting padel tournament. Back for its second edition, this year’s event saw record participation, stronger competition, and an even tighter-knit community of padel enthusiasts.

Drawing over 416 players across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced categories — including 160 first-timers — the Volvo Padel Open 2025 delivered on its promise of sport, connection, and lifestyle. Twelve champions emerged victorious, earning not only the coveted title but also exclusive Volvo merchandise, padel gear, and a host of lifestyle rewards worth over RM 180,000.

The tournament was held in collaboration with top Klang Valley padel venues Joy Division Padel, Padelground, and PadelKu, with support from partners including Coca-Cola Malaysia, Tactical Padel, Directors’ ThinkTank, and REGEN Physio & Sports Rehab. Winners were treated to complimentary court hours, Tactical racquets, and even a seven-day experience in a fully electric Volvo — a nod to the brand’s commitment to wellness, sustainability, and premium lifestyle.

To ensure a fair and balanced playing field, all Beginner and Intermediate participants underwent mandatory assessments by professional coaches before taking to the court. Coaching clinics were also offered to help newcomers build confidence and sharpen their skills ahead of the qualifying rounds, held on 19 and 26 July.

The Grand Finals on 27 July took place at Joy Division Padel 2 in Petaling Jaya, drawing over 450 spectators and players. The atmosphere was electric as fans cheered on their favourites during tightly contested rallies and thrilling match points. In true padel fashion, the day was as much about community spirit and camaraderie as it was about competition.
