Renault has recently announced a special promotion on its Renault Subscription 1-Month Trial Plan. Supposedly in conjunction with Renault’s recent F1 podium at Nurburgring, the French automaker is currently offering its Renault Captur compact SUV for only RM 699 on a month-long trial subscription. Compared to the normal price of RM 1,499, this deal represents a saving of over 50%.
Included within this RM 699 promotional price for the Captur subscription is road tax, insurance and regular servicing. There is also no booking fee or security deposit when taking up on this offer. It would seem that the only additional expense one would have to consider is fuel costs. Moreover, unlike other car subscription services, there are no milage caps for the cars offered under this promotion.
A point worth noting though is that these Capturs offered under this promotion won’t be brand new cars, but instead are pre-owned and pre-facelifted examples. Renault however assures that the cars on offer ‘have passed thorough inspection to meet Renault quality and safety standards’. Besides, with regular maintenance covered under the subscription, it should be trouble free motoring for the entire month long duration.
For those who fancy a month long fling with a compact French SUV, bookings can be made at either the Renault Malaysia Store on Shopee or through the Renault E-Store. The booking period for this deal is till the 31st of October. However as mentioned prior, only 100 units are eligible for this special promotion. So act fast before they all get snapped up.
It may seem cynical to offer these deals now when CMCO is in effect, however the redemption period for this offer is actually between 16 November 2020 and 15 January 2021. Hopefully then, there would be no more CMCO restricted movement regulations by that time.
