Honda Malaysia has opened bookings for the New City Hatchback, following the recent launch of the New City Sedan. The latest model brings refreshed styling, updated connectivity features and additional safety technology to Honda’s B-segment hatchback lineup.
Designed for younger drivers and urban lifestyles, the New City Hatchback combines a sportier appearance with practicality and interior versatility. The exterior receives a redesigned front end across all variants, featuring a sharper profile and new Connected Headlights. The RS variant also gets new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear.
Inside, the New City Hatchback gets several updates, including a revised dashboard with a 3D Pattern Mid Garnish and Ambient Light. A larger 10-inch floating Display Audio system has also been added for easier access to the vehicle’s connectivity functions.
The hatchback continues to feature Honda’s ULTRA Seats, offering four configurations known as Utility, Long, Tall and Refresh. These allow the rear seating and cabin space to be arranged according to different passenger and cargo needs.
At the top of the range, the New City Hatchback continues to offer Honda’s 1.5-litre e:HEV hybrid powertrain. It produces 109 PS and 253 Nm of torque, with Honda Malaysia also offering a 10-year warranty covering the hybrid battery and components with unlimited mileage.
Safety equipment has also been expanded, with the New City Hatchback now receiving a 360-degree Multi-View Camera System as standard. The system provides a wider view around the vehicle to assist with parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
The model also comes with Blind Spot Information and Cross Traffic Monitoring, which help monitor areas that may be difficult for the driver to see and detect approaching vehicles while reversing.
Honda Malaysia is also extending its ownership coverage through its latest warranty package. Effective from 1 September 2026, customers purchasing a new Honda petrol or hybrid model can receive up to eight years of warranty coverage with unlimited mileage.
With bookings now open, the New City Hatchback joins the New City Sedan as the latest addition to Honda Malaysia’s updated City lineup, offering buyers a choice between sedan and hatchback body styles.
