iCAUR Opens First Sabah 3S Centre In Kota Kinabalu

This new iCAUR 3S Centre strengthens its presence in Borneo with expanded sales and aftersales support.

iCAUR has recently expanded its footprint into East Malaysia with the opening of its first full-fledged 3S (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Operated by Universal Icar Sdn Bhd, the new facility marks an important milestone in the Chinese EV brand’s nationwide expansion while providing Sabahans with easier access to vehicle sales, servicing and genuine spare parts.

Located along Jalan Limau Manis, off Jalan Lintas in Taman Iramanis, the new iCAUR 3S Centre brings the brand’s complete ownership experience under one roof. Spanning 1,170 square metres, the facility has space to display up to four vehicles and features three dedicated service bays, a vehicle delivery area and two private EV charging bays.

Beyond the usual dealership facilities, the outlet also houses a customer lounge with complimentary refreshments and Wi-Fi, alongside an interactive gaming zone. iCAUR says the space has been designed to reflect its “Born to Play” philosophy, creating a more engaging environment for customers while they browse, charge or service their vehicles.

According to iCAUR Malaysia senior director Francis Chin, the Kota Kinabalu outlet represents a key step in the company’s plans to strengthen its nationwide presence. The expansion ensures customers in Sabah receive the same level of sales and aftersales support as those in Peninsular Malaysia. iCAUR currently operates 21 sales outlets nationwide and is targeting 30 by the end of 2026, with Sarawak identified as its next expansion destination in East Malaysia.

Universal Icar vice president Clinton Chok Jin Qin meanwhile believes iCAUR’s rugged yet distinctive SUV lineup is well suited to the Sabahan market, where buyers value versatility, individuality and adventure. He added that the dealership is committed to delivering a complete ownership experience backed by professional servicing, charging facilities and comprehensive aftersales support.

The iCAUR 3S Centre showroom is open from 8.30am to 6.00pm on weekdays, 8.30am to 4.00pm on Saturdays, and 10.00am to 3.00pm on Sundays and public holidays. Meanwhile, the service centre operates from 8.00am to 5.00pm on weekdays and 8.00am to 3.00pm on Saturdays, while remaining closed on Sundays and public holidays.

To date, iCAUR offers two models in Malaysia. The Defender-inspired 03 is priced from RM119,800 for the 2WD variant and RM129,800 for the iWD, while the boxier V23 starts at RM119,800 for the RWD and rises to RM132,800 for the iWD flagship.
